The US Open's Fan Week opens August 23, kicking off a fortnight of tennis at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center with Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka returning as the defending men's and women's singles champions.
A revamped Fan Week
This year's tournament introduces a full week of free-grounds programming before the main draw begins, including Arthur Ashe Kids' Day and a revamped Mixed Doubles Championship featuring sixteen teams in a shortened-set format.
Defending champions, fresh challengers
Alcaraz and Sabalenka arrive as the players to beat, but a deep, competitive field across both draws means neither title is likely to come easily. The main draw begins August 30 and runs through the middle of September.
